Anastasia, designed by Rocio Talavera, creates new and individual designs to suit the personal tastes of its clientele.

In creating her unique jewellery, Rocio Talavera applies the many different techniques learned throughout her years of travelling in South America. In Argentina she became really excited by the many textures that can be applied to silver, the fusion of metals and textures and the application of gold to complement the silver pieces. In Brazil, she discovered the world of semi-precious stones which she uses to enhance the energy and individuality of each piece of jewellery. Through patience and calmness, she achieves exquisite quality in her creations. Many of her pieces are inspired by the cosmos and the textures emulate the lunar surfaces.

"I know I have much more to discover and I'm always applying new techniques to my work. I love achieving textures in my designs. The textures emulate the lunar surface. Through these textures, I hope shoppers will experience the satisfaction of finding a unique and well-made piece of jewellery.

Out of Peru Silver's aim is to promote talented young Peruvian designers in the Andes to ensure a better quality of life for their local workers.  We enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship with our designers and ensure they receive fair prices for their products. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted with the utmost attention to detail, tying in with the great Incan belief that, although silver was abundant, it was a sacred material that only took on value once it was crafted into the most beautiful and elegant pieces and would remain beautiful until the end of the world.

We wanted to share with you what we experienced when we visited the artisans in their workshop and observed them hard at work delicately creating each individual piece.
